- When Vikrant graduated from high school, he asked himself what he wanted to do in life.

- Because of COVID, everything is now online. People are becoming more understanding of online business.

- Reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad completely changed how Vikrant thought about life and finance.
- He dropped out of college, borrowed money from family and friends, and built a business. He eventually got into debt and closed down the business.
- Vikrant then stumbled upon how to self-publish a book. He started writing books, publishing them, and earning royalties.
- Since then, he has launched several courses and e-books and helped thousands of people learn how to self-publish a book.

- Despite his difficult situation, Vikrant still did not want to go back to college.

[27:48] Who Should Write a Book
- Vikrant says not everyone should write a book.
- You have to be clear of your “why.” If you are passionate and motivated about that “why,” that’s when you publish a book.
- Vikrant used to think that writing a book is only for people in the information industry who want to share something.
- His perception changed when a client with a physical product asked for his help.
- You can use a book to position yourself as a leader in your industry. Through this, you get more opportunities.

And those distributors of his products, they read the book. They understand exactly how that works. They believed in his product. Then, they distribute his product. - Vikrant shares from experience that 99% of the time, you will not make good money from book royalties.

- Some people still believe that if a company publishes you, they will take care of the marketing. However, you actually have to do the marketing yourself.

- Vikrant works on his clients’ “whys” before proceeding to the next step.
- A first book outline is the most important step to complete the book because people tend to procrastinate.

- Vikrant mentions four elements that become your outline quadrant.
- When we understand these four elements, it gets easier for the client and the angel writer to understand everything about the book.

- Most ghostwriters take your outline, then write your book in their voice.
- Angel writing is a hybrid ghostwriting process.
